Great Players

 

Stan Collymore
Collymore was one the greatest premier league strikers of this season. He went on to score 22 league goals in Nottingham Forest’s first season back in the top division. He helped them finish third and also earned an England cap the same season. He signed for Liverpool the next season for a British record of 8.5 million. Unfortunately his career went down hill from then on.  The other clubs he then played for were  Leicester, Bradford and Real Oviedo .

 

Jurgen Klinsmann
Clubs- Tottenham
He came to Spurs after guiding Germany to the quarter finals in USA 94. He scored 21 league goals and helped spurs up from 3rd bottom in November to finish in 7th place. His image from the British media was also improved during the season. He invented the dive goal celebration making a joke about his reputation of being a diver.  He then went on to play for Bayern Munich, Sampdoria , Spurs again and then Orange County Blue Star.

Colin Hendry
Blackburn Rovers- He was a great defender famous for his hard tackling and his skill in the air. He was the rock of the Blackburn team. He played a big part in helping his team win the premiership with some splendid displays at the back. He then went on to play for Glasgow Rangers, Coventry, Bolton, Preston and Blackpool.
